I had a similar problem with the Calendar. It wouldn't close at all if you
were in a locale different to en_AU. I solved it by grabbing the relevant
en_GB (and just to make sure, EVERY locale) javascript file that was used by
the calendar, and it worked.

You'll probably just be able to go back a few versions and find all the
en_GB files and insert them in - that could work?
