Cheers Marco Tried all that and a few other things. I did manage to get it working last night after I removed some functions from the bottom of the CFC ( custom DB queries mainly).
Unforunately I then started having other problems :-) Containers on the site are telling me I don't have permission to view them and it looks like my account in general has been stripped of editing rights.
