I don't think you should have any cfm file directly under /project/webskin/.
If you need a webskin to be valid for all types, it should be in
/project/webskin/types/. It could be that it assumes "webskin" to be the
type, and prepends the object webkin path.

Try placing it in
farcry/projects/farcry_web15_1/webskin/types/displayTeaserSourceImage.cfm
