I know it's possible, but not the details. It is possible to override the function genericnav uses to get the tree it displays. Basically there are a bunch of functions in oTree that can be used instead of the default. You will probably have to look at the code of both to work it out, but you should start by adding these attributes to the genericnav tag: functionMethod="getBloodLine" functionArgs="levelsabove=1,levelsbelow=1"
