Make sure CF is patched
check out for latest db drivers
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/42dcb10a.html

I was using Oracle a couple of years ago and recall having this issue - but
cant exactly remember the solution.
I know this fixed something along the way.

Are you using a JBDC connect?
Are you using the latest oracle client?
