Marco,

You should be able to use the genericNav webskin to generate the
required html to drive the menu. Add the required css/js.

I have always had good results using Project Seven menus - see
http://www.projectseven.com/products/menusystems/pmm2/index.htm for a
multi-level menu. This one does require some slight changes to
genericNav to create the html.

Most unordered list menus should work without any modification - check
the parameters you can pass into genericNav and the example you're
using should work using genericNav just wrap it in div with an id of
"menu". You may need to make a slight change ti genericNav to make tho
top level items H2's, if so copy genericNav into your project.
