Folks, We'd like to try and offer the community a new and interesting service we've code named "Nuts & Bolts". Essentially we're offering to explain anything you find confusing in the framework or plugins code bases -- through the new Crucible Code Review package we have in place at: https://farcry.jira.com/source/cru
How will it work? ------------------------- Just start a code review: either select a revision/commit or some files and put in your queries. Or even give your own advice on how we might improve things. *note we need to work out the permissions in Jira Studio to make sure public users can interact with code reviews appropriately.. but we're hopeful we can get it all to work :)* What is the benefit? ------------------------- Well as an enquiring mind we can hopefully make sense of things for you :) But the knock-on benefit to the community is we can hopefully get the following: - better inline comments - identify defects & improvements - refactor older code to current best practice - identify dead code that needs to be pruned out or deprecated Give it a go!
