One of ColdFusion 9's strength is the tight integration with the BlazeDS realtime messaging engine; what I would also like to see is tight integration with: - Rule Engines; for instance "Drools"; good for separating highest- level business/goodness/whatsoever logic code from other (infrastructure) code - CEP (Complex Event Processing) Engines; for instance "Esper"; good for adding game-changing realtime computations upon data/messages into the mix
SOA product suites - for instance WSO2 - typically offer tight integration with Computation Engines of all sorts ...
