Hi guys, I've got a project running FarCry 5.2, and the client is reporting some very slow loading times for the Site Tree. I was just wondering if there's much that can be done to speed up the loading? Am I right in thinking that it generates the Site Tree for each user based on their rights, and stores it in a session/cookie object to save time on subsequent visits?
I've managed to bring the speed up to a "tolerable" standard, but the client would still like to see some improvements. Is the Site Tree for version 6 any faster, and if so, can I update just section of the core code without upgrading the entire core (thus, saving us from having to rework the user manuals we had to provide as the Site Tree would still function in the same way)? Cheers for any suggestions anyone has -Phil. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Site-Tree-speed-tp29815757s621p29815757.html Sent from the FarCry - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- You received this message cos you are subscribed to "farcry-dev" Google group.
