Personally, I just go and actually sort through the tag itself within
the core. You'll get a much better understanding of the underpinnings
this way, and also see what some off the logic of the various functions
are doing with those property tags. You're also bound to see things in
the component that haven't made its way into the documentation and find
handy little gems ;).
