in the text editor you can select text ten click the link icon (chain) and
in the dialogue box there is a drop down of all Nav nodes.

For pages, or other content types, you need to add a relationship.
Go to the section below the html editor,
Go to Associated Content,
Click Select to add a existing object,
Go to the relevant tab, eg HTML and select the page(s) you want.

Then, back in the editor, click the cursor where you want the link.

think it is)
Select the object you want, select a template,
and then click PREVIEW - this is what gets inserted.
