I grabbed a copy of 6.1.0 from SVN again to address the issue with filtering not working in the admin. However, there still appears to be a bug in application.fapi.getContentObjects when specifying a category. The <cfqueryparam> down the line is expecting a cf_sql_type, however, it's set to <cfset propertytypemap["category"] = "" /> at the beginning of the call. Setting this to <cfset propertytypemap["category"] = "cf_sql_varchar" /> fixed it for me. I'm running railo/mysql should it matter.
