When I last looked Blair had partially fixed the Base Gateway in Trunk but VarScoper is still picking up on a lot of general Varring issues across the Core. It's also something that tripped us up a few times when we first went live with our site back in version 5.2.3. so running VarScoper has become a bit of a "must have" with any Core upgrades we carry out.
