Are you sure you have a proper install of FC core?  I ask because your 
stack trace shows the error on line 27 of 
/farcry/core/tags/navao/getNavigation.cfm.  In my copy of core (latest 
p620) and the version that is in the 6.2.7 tag shows line 27 as:

<cfset parentNav = ''>

So, its doubtful that would cause that error.
