During FarCry breakfast this morning, Matt (of Toro) has volunteered to flail about in the bowels of the formtool engine in a possibly misguided attempt to build "form themes" (aka "webskins for formtools" and not "form skins").
As Dora the Explorer would say, "We need your help!" Remastering formtool HTML output in a project is currently a flagellant's dream. *Form Themes* would allow developers to nominate alternative markup for formtool forms than the historic Uniform used in recent generations of the framework. In fact, you'd be able to switch between different form markup depending on what you needed. For example, you may be a Bootstrap fan and want to have bootstrap form fields in your web site -- hey, that's what we want in the *Shiny* new webtop. If you're a user of form tools in your web site and want to help out in this skunkworks project let me know. We need different folks to try out the code base and report what breaks.
