Is it possible to setup Farcry without the server mappings? I could see using Farcry for a couple of sites but the sites are on a shared hosted web server (Windows2000 with ColdFusionMX). All of the files would need to be in wwwroot.
There is only *one* CF Mapping and *two* web server mappings required. Your ISP should be able to accommodate these requirements.
I could put the files that are in a directory called farcry which would contain the files in farcry_core\admin.
Would all of the other files go in the wwwroot?
No. They're all designed specifically *not* to appear in the web root :) Changing that requirement would be bad practice, insecure and generally difficult to maintain in the long run.
There are several developers on this list running FarCry in shared environments -- I'm sure we can help get you set up without the need to resort to changing the underlying file structure of FarCry.
I've taken the liberty of forwarding your reply to farcry-dev which is a more developer oriented list.
