yesterday i spent the better part of the day setting up my first (serious) farcry multilingual site. it became the better part of a day simply because the staff at this site had prepped an mx box & created a sql server db for me. what they failed to say was that the db was setup with a thai_BIN collation (thai binary sort). binary sort, even in languages like thai that have no case, is case sensitive. sql server case sensitivity, as most folks who use sql server know, means case sensitivity everywhere including ColUmn naMES. the farcry install therefore failed trying to access "nlevel" column (in the db i think its "Nlevel" or something like that). so if you should run into this situation on a sql srever install, just turn around & look to see if you have a binary collation chomping into the fleshy parts of your anatomy.
