Hi Tom, Thanks for that but I'm pretty certain that's what I tried. (actually I tried this last night and I'm finally writing these notes today so I'm not in front of the machine that has FarCry on it). I'll retry tonight. From memory I did what you suggested and it didn't work so I then selected the 'Does the content need to match ALL the selected Keywords?' option in the News rule but that gave me an error message. Hey Nick,
No problems. You'll need to do two things to make this happen:
1. Make sure that your dmNews objects are "categorized". It's the last step in
the news PLP.
2. Once your News is categorized. Use the "Restrict by categories" option in
the News Rule to display only the News objects that match the categories in the rule.
Hope this help
~Tom

Subject: A question regarding categorisation
I have two pages on my site, both displaying news stories. On
one page I want to display only a subset of the news stories (e.g. Category =
myCategory1). On the other page I want to display a different subset of news stories
(yeah you guessed Category = myCategory2).
How do I do this? I thought this would be done by setting a
keyword on a page (e.g. myCategory1) then setting the category of my displayable
object to myCateogry1) but this doesn't seem to do anything?
Can anyone help me here?
TIA,
N.
