Although I note from the applications <CFAPPLICATION> tag that the default
session timeout is 1 hour, I am finding that the session never seems to
time out on the actual site.
On the admin site you get the javascript popup that tells you that you are
logged out - and (mostly) you have to log back in to do anything.
But this does not seem to be the behaviour on the application itself.
I always am able to just go back to any of my permissioned areas (that
normally require login) and it all just keeps working. I have not
measured the time frame exactly but am sure that I have been away from my
desk for more than an hour (and our load balancer times out sessions after
20 minutes in any case).
Not only that, once I do this (ie. navigate around on the site) I get back
my login in the Admin area that has previous timed out.
Any comments or known problems?
