Hey -

When you add a navigation node, you will notice that you can choose a symbolic link. This *should* serve as a pointer to another aliased object.   In the current release however it doesn't quite behave as you'd expect - ie being able to simply preview the node and have the linked object data pulled into that node.   The buildlink tag does actually have the smarts to deal with symbolic links, but really it sould be a no brainer.     Next pubilc build should see this functionality fully working :)

Hi Ken,

I have just what you need. A "mirror HTML content" object.

We have a big need to mirror our HTML body content throughout our site
without replicating the content. At first I was using containers and rules
to accomplish this. That worked OK...but it was not very elegant and
required many steps. With the release of Farcry V2, we can now add custom
types into the tree :), so I've created a custom "Mirror HTML" object.

The type files are attached. It could probably use a few efficiency tweaks,
but it works just fine. You'll need to create your own templates for the
type in your "Webskin" directory. The type supplies two structs to the
template. stObj, contains the properties of the Mirror object itself.
stProps (I should have named this differently..stMirrorObj?) contains the
properties of the object being mirrored. Enjoy.
