We have a new site up (Actually an older site given new life through
FarCry).
Client Profile:
Food Bank for New York City (http://www.foodbanknyc.org): The
Largest Food Bank in the US. Serves the 5 boroughs of New York City by
providing support networks, counseling, training, food, and a plethora of other
avenues to make sure people do not have to go hungry (These guys are
great!)
Basic Stats:
Development Team: 2 developers
Development Time Frame: Removing client lag, about 6 weeks, with
client, 12 weeks
CMS Features:
--> Rotating facts pushed into Flash and rotating via
categorization
--> Rotating Stories on Home Page
--> Integration of Milonic pull down for dynamic nav
--> Virtual Food Drive
--> Poll (currently client does not have any polls set up though)
--> Various rotating images based on section
--> Lots of lovable rules
--> Custom Types for a Food Agancy Locator, Staff Directory, Forms,
Inventory Locator, etc
--> Password Protected Extranet Feature
--> News, Events, Links, Etc
