Now this page (http://127.0.0.1/farcry/install) works when i use the browser on the server. However http://intranet/farcry and http://10.7.2.18/farcry/ {internal IP of intranet} will not work.
There is a deliberate security check in place to stop people from accessing the install from anywhere but localhost. You can change the application.cfm in the install directory to allow your specific domain/ip or remove the check entirely.
The installer really should be removed completely in production... but people always forget -- so we stuck in this security measure to make sure folks weren't left in a vulnerable position by accident.
