I'm
currently trying to decide the best way to create dynamic navigation using
images and rollovers.
I am
interested to know other peoples thoughts on this or whether this has been done
before.
I
see two ways forward:
(1)
Add a switch statement to the _primaryNav.cfm to select the correct images
depending on the navigation name.
(2)
Hack the dmNavigation.cfc to add three new fields (imageUnSelected, imageOver,
imageSelected) and then use those in the _primaryNav.cfm or
_secondaryNav.cfm
(3)
Create my own new type and associate it to the navigation objects (however I'm
not sure whether this is possible).
Ideally I'd like it dynamic so using (2) or (3).
If
anyone has done this or has a suggestion I'd REALLY love to hear
it!
