Thanks again guys - I'm not sure I'll persist with shares too long, however, I'm sure as a service, many (or some) of you have installed to shares so I'm sure its some little thing somewhere.
I've gone back to the location so that I could replicate the error and pass it to the host and now get this (its like the mapping doesn't exist anymore but I can't imagine that's right): ********************* File not found: /farcry/index.cfm Please try the following: Check the ColdFusion documentation to verify that you are using the correct syntax. IIS connects to this in order to pass Cold Fusion requests on to the CF server. You can try restarting the service from Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services You might find that Cold Fusion restarts fine but you still get the same error. If so, try rebooting and see if that helps any If you can't get it to work still, one of your configs maybe screwy (in various XML files in c:\cfusionmx\).... you can manually check this out by trying to start cold fusion from the command line.. c:\cfusionmx\bin\cfstart (it will show java stack traces you can use to debug) see how you go with that Cheers -- Quentin Zervaas Web Developer MITOUSA.
