Hi there Gary,

I think Im still a bit confused as to your concept of a 'custom admin'
area. I take it for whatever reason it doesn't exist in the farcry admin
area though. I also figured that if you are using display.cfm to render
the page then these include objects must surely exist under a nav node
yes? Hence why i figured a navigation permission would be appropriate
:) I'd support the use of a request variable that you can set in
your include templates - something along the lines of
request.bHideContextMenu that will prevent the menu from being
rendered.

Bye for now

Paul

Hi Paul,

There may have been a misunderstanding of WHEN we want to remove the
CONTEXT
menu....

We are actually building our plug-in ADMIN stuff using FarCry objects
(dmInclude at the moment). But when we display in the CUSTOM ADMIN
area, we
get the CONTEXT menu. We don't really want it there because it is not
relevant.

While I agree that there should be a mechanism through permissions to
restrict the CONTEXT menu on a site, I can't see how this would work for
the
ADMIN area as such. The CONTEXT menu just doesn't have any relevance in
this case at all and shouldn't be displayed.

Maybe a more appropriate/clever mechanism would be if navajo/display
could
automatically determin if it was being run from ADMIN and not output the
CONTEXT menu ??
