Solved!

Simple really. Just include the domain when building the left-hand side of the
Friendly URL.

www.site1.com/go/{whatever}=...

www.site2.com/go/{whatever}=...

works great!

        Doh!

there's a typo in my example below.

        www.site1.com/go.contacts should say www.site1.com/go/contacts

        double doh!

on a single server.

I've used Friendly URLs and they are working nicely

I now have a different project on which I need to use Friendly URLs. I
think my question is best asked with an example so here goes.

                Site 1 is www.site1.com
                Site 2 is www.site2.com

Both sites are on the same server running IIS. Within IIS I have
created two sites, www.site1.com and www.site2.com.

Now let's assume that these two sites are very similar and have an
almost identical structure. Ignore the reason why as that is beyond the scope of my
question but let's say they are for different countries but not necessarily different
languages.

Each site has a page called, for arguments sake 'Contacts'. Normally I
would create a Friendly URL called 'contacts' and point it at my chosen page on
www.site1.com so www.site1.com/go.contacts would redirect to my chosen page on
www.site1.com.

My problem now is that I want to keep my Friendly URLs consistent
across sites so I want each site to have a Friendly URL called 'contacts'. So the user
will enter www.site1.com/go/contacts or www.site2.com/go/contacts etc. and be
redirected to the Contacts page of the appropriate site.

So eventually here comes my question.

How do I achieve the above requirement? I _really_ do want to use
'contacts' as the Friendly URL trigger for each site rather than, for example,
contacts1,contacts2 etc. I also want to avoid .../go/site1/contacts and
/go/site2/contacts etc.
