I have to prgram a multi-language site. That means I need only an admin-application and 3 sites (only the content is in other languages). Is that possible with farcry? Or have I to install for each site a new admin-application?
FarCry is Unicode compliant so you can run all different languages and character sets in the content provided your database can handle it.
You could create a single site and have a seperate branch for each language. That is assuming you want to have the same site replicated but each time in a different language. These would be managed by a single admin.
Alternatively if you are looking for three completely different sites.. you can run as many different sites as you like on the same server but each site will have its own admin area.
An other Question. Are there other interface-languages for admin-area, or is it static?
For now it is static. We have been discussing various approaches for localising the application in different languages. This is a task we have slated for development but you're unlikely to see anything for several months.
