Hello Brant,
Did you try the code that Ben Bishop sent through ?
It is not a floating pull down menu system but would enable an expanding tree menu on the left hand side.
If you get this working, you might get some more ideas for the menu's that
you want.
Having said that, you still need to mix the right CSS with it to control the
rendering of the <LI>'s. I think there are plenty of examples for this on
the maxdesign site: http://css.maxdesign.com.au/index.htm
which has plenty of list based tutorials for doing menus.
If I get some time tomorrow I will play around with one of the drop-down
lists from MaxDesign and see if I can adapt either Ben's or Chris's (or my
own) code to generate a menu and post it.

Hi - Just wondering if someone can point me in a direction to start
understanding how to build the drop down menus as on the farcry website
( I am looking at the documentation pages at present ). I know that I am
going to be using nested lists, generated from the
farcry.farcry_core.packages.farcry.tree object, but I just dont know
where to start. Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
Brant
