Actually we started seeing this last week to. It happens when the client is uploading a ton of stuff to the image and file trees. We have done restarts with relative success, but a reboot seems to work much better.
This issue appears to be quite prevalent. The only thing we can narrow it down to is potentially running the CFFILE tag inside a component. We'll see if moving the CFFILE tag to the calling page makes the situation more stable -- but for all intensive purposes this appears to be a CFMX issue at this stage.
