FarCry Included Objects are you friend. We have extensive included objects that just have bog standard CFMX code in them. These all talk to our previous system databases. In some cases we ported code directly across. In others we wrote it from scratch. For a public part of our site, have a look at the "Find An Office" section (mostly all DB and CFMX driven using includeObj): https://www.abnamromorgans.com.au/index.cfm?objectid=FEED8D43-65B3-AE2D-D24531EC5B00EACB OR - for that matter - the All Ords Index graph on the front page (careful if you look at this after midnight and before open of market - its empty)........ That is a little FLASH app generated by a program called PopCharts and is plugged into FarCry by creating an includeObj (which we stuck into the Utility nav tree) and then loading that into a container - ALL VERY FARCRY. You put the code in your includeObj directory (make sure you wrap your output up in <CFOUTPUT> tags). Then create a node in the navigation tree that is an "Included Object" type (cant remember the exact name) and point it at your code. Zip to that Nav and your code should appear. Start out with a REALLY simple one to begin with like........ <CFOUTPUT> <h3>My New Page</h3> </CFOUTPUT> and build on it from there.
