As part of the FarCry Open Source CMS v2.1 release, developers now have
the ability to extend all core types and rules. This is enormously
powerful, allowing you to add your own properties, override existing
methods or add entirely new methods all without modifying the core code
base so you can still take advantage of future code updates.
