Have a look at /farcry/farcry_core/admin/admin/quickBuilder.cfm (unfortunately it's not a CFC so you can't reuse without copy&paste).

It doesn't have functionality to import chunks of content, but what it does do is create pages and nav nodes in the tree. You'd then have to do something like set them to locked, populate the actual data fields of your newly created objects, then unlock them (and approve them if you wish).

Daemon may have more information but I'd imagine most of them are busy at the mo. with MXDU.

Yes - I was hoping someone had code I could look at for this.  I realize
it's a huge task to do something like batch loading for a feature-rich CMS
like farcry.  I would hire someone to do it manually but there are like
15,000 documents.  I wouldn't put something so tedious on someone when it
can be automated.

If you don't mind, I'd like to take a look at your functions for this. It
would help me understand better what's necessary to extend farcry in this
way.
