Michael's examples of a calendar and date picker would then be possible, plus many others. This would improve the user expeirence and content maintenance options.
If you decide on the <appname>/customadmin/js could this also have a <appname>/customadmin/css to allow app specific css changes to style the admin for each app?

At present no there is no way of including custom javascript in the admin header. Maybe we need to check for custom js scripts in each app when building the header code? eg look in <appname>/customadmin/js if there are any .js files include them via a <script> tag. Is this what you're after Michael? Anybody else see this as something useful?
