I have been a fan of NavAlias for a long time (and even would like the
ability to provide an "alias" to any object in FarCry - but that is a
different story).

Recently (like yesterday) I started using Symbolic Link as well.

However, I am still confused about it's behaviour. How I have used it is
how I want it to work - although I am puzzled.

I created a Navigation item somewhere in my tree and told the Symbolic
Link that it was back to it's parent. What I wanted was for that
particular page to always show as being under that parent link.

And then to my (pleasant) surprise the new Navigation item does NOT appear
in the tree. This is exactly what I want (I dont want the link that has
the Symbolic reference in it to appear in any Navigation - but I want it
to be a Navigation item so I can have a NavAlias for it).

But I am not sure that is what it should be doing. It may be that my menu
code is somehow missing it (by accident rather than by design). If it is
by accident then I will need to work out "why" and then make sure I recode
my menu so that it is by design instead.

Any thoughts or comments on this would be welcome.
