if i call application.factory.oTree.getDescendants with 'spells - paladin's objectID it will return 'classes - paladin - major orders' descendants, not its own.
I don't think it's a problem with getDescendants, I think it's to do with your div naming convention. Instead of using qNav.objectName as the div id try using qNav.nLeft as this should be unique. You will also need to update your onmouseover code to reference the new div id's.
