One of the uses I have is to allow a quick way to insert a new dmHTML page by browsing to a page and then clicking a new link "Add a child" or "Add after/before this page". These would then go to a new admin process that would create the dmNavigation and the dmHTML in one process. Would also provide "move up & down" to reposition the navigation node in the tree.
Sounds great, although I haven't found a reason to do so yet.
It is a bit similar to the "Edit Page" link that is currently in the flyout menu, but providing more of the edit functions.
While I write I have also realised that I need to have a approve, send to draft etc links as well. Basicaly i will need to create the links that are available from within the Site Admin section.
The site will require ease of maintenance by many people who may not feel at home working within the site tree, so I am looking at ways of simplifying the process for these people. And I think that offering this from the Flyout Menu might be less confusing to novice users. Also as a quick edit mode for more expeirienced users.
Another idea is to allow for dmNews items to be entered "from a page", these news items would then be associated with that page automatically.
