The login domain can be totally different form the network name, but
generally they will be similar.

If you can login onto you network as STUFF\username then STUFF is the
domain to use.

In Active Directory, right click the top level where you sees
test.stuff.com, right-click and select properties. In there you will see
a domain name for pre-windoze2000 - use that.

test.stuff.net, I should use the short name of "test" as the domain.
