By features in Type3 do you really mean "available extensions"?

I copied a lot from their 'Feature List' page (in double quotes). But #5 is still my favorite feature. (And #2 "Image Magick" is something we can definetly benefit from - also because it supports CF, supports multiple operating systems, and is open source).

-----
1. Context sensitive help
"The backend interface offers context sensitive help from small icons."
Help icons next to just about every field (there is usually a small '?' image next to many things. Click on it and a small popup window comes up with help info (very useful).

2. Automated image processing
"Automatic management of images, ensuring correct size and quality for the web..." -Some really cool image manipulation tools. When you upload an image you don't have to crop it, the program will do it for you. Name the format (tiff, bmp, etc) and it will convert it to jpg/gif and optimize it for the web.

Its an Open Source program called "Image Magick". The site also offers a CF tag for its use as well. (Lcick on the link called API for the CF tag. == http://www.imagemagick.org/

3. Built-in Clipboard for copy/cut/paste. Although I found this a little wierd to use at first I discovered its actually quite handy, but probably not a must-have for FarCry.

4. Scheduled publishing:
"Pages and page content as well as news items can be set to automatically go on and offline." -I'm still new to FarCry, so if this already exists for every element them dismiss it.

5. Plugins (Extensions)
"Many default plugins are available such as forums, calendars, guestbooks, sitemaps, banner-controls, email-forms, polls, ratings, faqs, glossaries, news, and online shop systems. The list of user contributed "install-in-one-click" plugins is growing daily in the online extension repository."
This is obviously my favorite feature. Because the community gets so involved, they are allowed to "review" the plugin and offer their own comments. The author can also post documentation about the extenstion for User Manual, Administration, Configuration, Known Problems, and a To-Do-List.

(An example of all 5 documents being used, but not required http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/new/photographic_library/)

Another feature I'd like to see added to it is the ability to add yourself to an automated mailing list that notifies you when an extension you installed has a newer version on the FarCry website. Also small things like browser compatability, and CF version compatability (we can't forget future versions of CF and Bluedragon).

6. Extension kickstarter wizard
To help people make all those many many extensions. Typo3, Similar to FarCry, asks that you follow a few set of simple rules/guidelines so that the plugin (extension) can be easily plugged-in to anyone's CMS without question. As soon as this feature was released the plugins started pouring in to the typo3 website.

7. Multiple projects/websites
I know FarCry supports multiple websites, but I'm still not sure if I can manage them all from within the same FarCry login. With typo3 you have the option to manage many websites depending on your security. when looking at the site in the tree structure they make the first item a globe image (just like in IIS) which represents the website. FarCry may already do this and I just haven't dicovered it yet. If so, dismiss this one =)
