I hacked the app.cfm , it worked :-)

Now I have a new problem:

<x-tad-smaller>You need to have Create_tmp_table_priv privilege set to true for your MySQL user

</x-tad-smaller>
<x-tad-smaller>As I said before, I only have a shared account, can't I set up the db using a sql file
from someone ?? Or are there some docs for users like me ?</x-tad-smaller>

You could hack
\farCry\farcry_core\admin\install\ Application.cfm

Subject: [farcry-dev] ip not permitted

hello,

I try to install farcry on a sunone unix platform.
It runs CFMX, I checked that.

It's a shared account, should I be able to install farcry on my account
?

I get this error when surfing to:

http://__ip__/farcry/farcry_core/admin/install/index.cfm

"Your IP address is not permitted to access the install directory."

The file permissions in the install folder are set to 644, as in the
install zip file.

I followed the installation guide, but it only gives tips for a local
win environment.

Thank you !
