In what way doesn't cfldap work? I have successfully used cfldap to
authenticate and authorize against an Active Directory...

As for the NTAdmin.dll, just a few weeks ago I set up FarCry site with
Active Directory authentication, just to test it out. This was with b210
of the core so I had to apply a few documented fixes, as well as the fix
I posted earlier, to the to get it working. The latest release of the
core seems to fix most of the previous bugs, with the exception of the
bug I posted earlier in this thread and another small bug in
farcry_core/packages/security/authorisation.cfc. I was authenticating
against a SBS 2003 Active Directory, but I don't think that should make
a difference.

Subject: [farcry-dev] RE: Active Directory Integration - UPDATE III

Hi,

I have been working on getting this AD authentication to work in
FarCry. I read through macromedia articles and forums on how to get AD
to talk with Coldfusion MX and cfldap to work properly. Nothing has
work.
I spent cash and went to training for 2 weeks for Coldfusion MX and
spoke with my instructors on AD authentication and they have all told me
that cfldap doesn't work. These were freelance Macromedia Regional
Master Coldfusion MX instructors and developers. They were awesome and
shed some light on many areas that I wasn't aware of. We followed every
scenario that we could on solving the authentication issue, but it all
came back to the NTAdmin.dll file. They suggested that I should find an
updated dll file or tear the file apart to see whats inside. Otherwise
if it didn't work I should implement a com object and try integrating it
with FarCry.
After reading your post, I truly beleive that it is the dll that is
not functional. If someone has an updated NTAdmin.dll I would like to
test it to see if it actually works.
