I have built a hierarchy off the utility menu. I would like to put something on the home site nav tree that I can point to top level node of the hierarchy.

I have tried symbolic link, but;
 - it requires a symbolic link (no biggy I suppose)

 - the top level node’s page template shoos the hierarchy and uses the object id is the top level.

   The linked page object id is not the correct object id.

   From the symbolically linked page, can I get the object id of the page it refers to?

Is there an easier / better what of doing this?
