I have news items that I would like to prevent anonymous users from accessing; the catch is I would like to have the teasers be displayed to all users. (Basically I want the teasers to show up on the homepage but require a login to see the full article.)
Right now I'm checking the current user's policyGroupID in the news objects displayPage*.cfm templates and redirecting to the login page if they don't have the proper authentication. Is this a viable approach, or is there another way to secure dynamic content?
