I got this working with FarCry b220-beta1 and HTMLArea RC1.
One thing I would like to see would be the ability to configure HTMLArea
plug-ins (SpellChecker, etc.) via the config file. I actually set this
up this morning for basic plug-ins that do not require any additional
arguments other than the plug-in name. It appears to work, however I've
only been working with HTMLArea v3 since last night and I'm not entirely
familiar with Spikes FarCry implementation.
Spike, is there a particular reason you used the HTMLArea.replace()
function instead of creating a new HTMLArea like so:
editor = new HTMLArea("#uniqueID#");
editor.generate();
This is how most of the HTMLArea examples create the HTMLArea and this
is the method I use to allow for the addition of plug-ins.
If there is interest in this feature I can submit my mods to the list
for review.
Thanks,
