Well here goes. I was playing around with some Scheduled Tasks and have used updateXMLFeed.cfm as the basis for the (attached) updateMultipleXMLFeeds.cfm (2Kb).
I had a updateXMLFeeds task set up for a while and began to wonder why it was not working - the penny finally dropped that the Parameters field needed to the the extra values (in this case the XML Feed's objectid) to add to the URL (including the URL parameter name [oid]). UpdateMultipleXMLFeeds dmCron, as the name suggests, will take a list of XML feed object ids in the form: oid=0C44B7B1-96B8-CC2B-68BAF0CB30D6E77B,04E0E924-1034-5339-F8CD582354CDE913, 6C8526AB-96B8-CC2B-6F27613E17245221 Bear in mind that the parameters item in the dmCron table is only 255 characters so any more than 5-6 object id will start to get a bit tight. cheers David -----Original Message----- From: Geoff Bowers [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, June 29, 2004 12:58 PM To: FarCry Developers Subject: [farcry-dev] Re: Code posting etiquette?
