Well, there is the deployConfig method of the farcry.config component
which will drop and then rebuild the config database table. To
repopulate the config table you need to call all of the default methods
of the config component. (i.e. defaultVerity, defaultPlugins, etc.)
Luckily FarCry has a utility that does all of this for you.

Try Admin -> General -> Configuration -> Restore Default Core Config.
This will restore all of the default values for the FarCry configuration
files. You may need to update your app after re-deploying by appending
updateapp=1 to your url. If I remember correctly, you may also need to
re-deploy any custom config files.
