Hi Mike, The apply button was removed because it seemed many users would forgot to actually click the apply button on this step. If you step forward or backwards from that step though the categories will be saved. Jumping to complete *should* save them as well so it looks as though youve identified a bug. I'll sort it out and commit to p220 branch.
On the subject of categories - there is a new feature which hasn't really been mentioned that some of you should find useful and that is category aliases. The concept is that same as that of nav aliases. When you are managing categories, users with developer privaleges will be able to assign an alias to any given node. To refer to this alias in your code, you use #application.catid.categoryalias#. bye:) Paul >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 7/29/2004 9:39:07 PM >>> Just a quick note. I noticed that the apply categories button is now gone from the categories step in the PLP. However, categories only seem to get applied when you click "finish". if you should complete they do not apply. Was this intentional? Should I have poke to submit a fix?, or Should the manual just be updated? :-) -- Regards, Michael J.
