There are CMS systems based on CFML which have an out of the box richer
featureset than FarCry does, and are faster, but yes, they cost you
money (for now).

I'm not sure which solutions you are referring to. Certainly FarCry benchmarks well in performance and functionality to nearly any commercial CFML CMS on the market. I'd be interested why you think it doesn't -- or better still, specific features you'd like to see implemented that you believe give other solutions the edge.


Once you've completed a piece of software there is always someone
overclassing you, this will never stop ;)

And so the FarCry community continues on -- we're just about to release FarCry 2.3 with complete localisation and other great features. Generally speaking, FarCry development has kept pace with our old commercial development schedule prior to its release to open source in April 2003.
