have you looked at the admin code yet? if you do it should be pretty plain.
the only locale with that beta (or whatever) is en_AU (that is english as
spoken by ozzies) though you can modify the admin user's properties to other
locales. you'll still get ozzy english but the dates, etc. will be in that
locale. note that the calendar is gregorian & based on the whimpy sun
implementation (ie no fully localized dates using localized digits, etc.).
we're still figuring out how to get my icu4j based calendars, etc. CFCs
fully integrated (one stupid wrapper class dependency on the icu4j JAR has
me stumped).

you're not on my list of localizers. what language(s) do you want to handle?
so far there are folks for french, italian, german (all but de_LU),
estonian, spanish (oh boy! there are a whole lot of spanish locales),
japanese & us english (that should be hard ;-). and i'll probably do a thai
version. if you feel that ozzy english is different enough from what you use
in GB then i suppose we can add that as another localization. let me know.

anybody wanting to help with localization, please email me with the
languages/locales you want to handle (also please CC [EMAIL PROTECTED],
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] so that the daemonites are
kept in the loop). i'll organize a draft version of the i18n notes (it
should be enough to get you running) as well as the required rb files.
