Tom,
What I see for each application that has FUs switched on is that in the application.fu.mappings there are the mappings for that site and all the other sites with FUs switched on.
It is probably getting the entire FriendlyURLs.txt and placing it into the application scope.

Huh? I think not. The application scope is separate for each farcry site.
