I've been a little hesitant about sending these fixes to daemon because, while they work with HTMLArea 3 RC1, they do not work with later versions of HTMLArea 3. >There are still a couple bugs that Nathan said he'd look into >(like undo/redo not working in Farcry), but overall HTMLArea >at aleast allows XHTML and supports Firefox. >From what I could tell undo/redo did not work at all in RC1 of HTMLArea, but I think there was a fix posted to the HTMLArea forums. This leads to a few questions of my own... Is the HTMLArea code going to be included in the FarCry release and if so which version? Also, can we make patches to that code and release our own hacked version with FarCry? (I'm not as up on what the various open source licenses allow as I should be.) If we are going to include the HTMLArea code in the FarCry release I would certainly be willing to get all of my HTMLArea fixes and submit them as patches.
